Mohawk

Zachary has been asking me to help him create a little mohawk every morning. He looks super cute with his little glasses and a mohawk! Love it!

Allie's Haircut

Grammy trimmed Allie's hair last week. It has finally grown in and is ADORABLY curly and sweet. I love my Allie and her wild curls. The trim actually made her little curls more bouncy and fuller. She is getting so very big. A lot of friends have noticed how much she grew this summer and how different she looks with all her hair. I can't believe how my little sweet baby girl is so grown and lovable.

More Flag Football

Zachary finished his flag football season over the weekend. He had a lot of fun celebrating the fact that his team won the championship game. I loved seeing him hanging out with all the boys and just goofing off with them. All of them are older than he is, but they are good boys and always include him even though he's a little guy and a rookie player.

I love this pic below. They had a mid-day game and it was reeeealllly hot outside, so their coach made them sit under umbrellas in between plays. He's such a cutie!!

Flag Football

As previously mentioned, Zachary played flag football this past month. It was his first time ever and he ended up having to play in a 10-year old & under league. However, he had an AWESOME coach who was such a great help and source of encouragement and a GREAT teacher for him.

Here's the football video. This is just a montage of plays from 1 game. His team is white. He's #7, the youngest and smallest in the whole league. Keep an eye on the coach, you'll see before his plays, he really talks with Zachary. It's so great. This is his best game. He has come a LONG way!

2) 2:09-2:15 Zachary tosses it...A completed pass!

Baseball game

We had another one of our super fun family nights at the minor league baseball game last week. Todd caught a John Deer t-shirt that was shot into the stands.

The kids were super well-behaved and enjoyed some jump time in those inflatables...
as well as some ice cream in the air-conditioned hospitality suite. Can you say "spoiled"?

Tinker Toys!

Zachary & I built our own version of an elevator out of Tinker Toys the other day. He's pretty good at coming up with his own game plan for building things. I'm also impressed by his attention span. He will work on something for a long time without stopping. I love this smart kid!

Chick-fil-a Fun

I knew that today was the Chick-fil-a customer appreciation day, where you wear a cow outfit and get free food! So earlier in the week, we went to Hobby Lobby and got some supplies to make cow costumes. On Thursday, I had to work, so I told the babysitter (she is an artist) she could do the costumes with the kids if they got bored. When I got home from work, I was SO PLEASED that she made the costumes and did an awesome job!! SO cute -
