Little White Lie?

Zachary: "Mommy, how long does it take to get to the north pole?"

Mommy: "Oh it takes a very long time. It is all the way at the top of the world. See, (pointing at the map) we are here in Georgia, right above Florida and the North Pole is all the way up here."

Zachary: "But how long would it take for us to get there?"

Mommy: "A few days, buddy. It's a long way."

Zachary: "No, that's not right, Mommy. Uncle Dan told me he went to the north pole the other day when he was getting donuts....and that didn't take very long."

Oh my goodness, I feel terrible!
I need to remember that every little thing you say to a kid that age, they'll remember/take it literally! I think I said that just joking...that is too funny how they remember and repeat things.

Zach, Uncle Dan will work on his honesty! =)

Hahaha! Zach, Uncle Dan has never been very good at directions! But he can build a big fire when you guys go to the North Pole next time.
